When a tornado whisks Dorothy Gale and her faithful dog, Toto, away from Kansas, she finds herself in a dazzling world filled with munchkins, witches, flying monkeys, and more than a little magic.
Along the way, Dorothy joins forces with a Scarecrow searching for a brain, a Tin Man longing for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion hoping to find his courage. Together, they journey toward the Emerald City to meet the mysterious Wizard of Oz, discovering that sometimes what we’re searching for has been within us all along.
Featuring the treasured songs from the MGM film, including “Over the Rainbow,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard,” “If I Only Had a Brain,” and more, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) version brings the wonder, humor, adventure, and heart of the classic movie to life onstage.
