Description

A Technique-Based Acting Class for Young Performers
This class is designed to introduce our younger actors to the foundational tools of monologue work in a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment. Students will learn how to bring a short monologue to life by focusing on clear objectives, strong choices, vocal expression, and physical storytelling.
Through age-appropriate exercises and guided practice, performers will explore how to:
  • Understand who they are speaking to and why
  • Use body language, facial expression, and voice with intention
  • Break text into simple beats and moments
  • Stay present, focused, and confident while performing solo
Rather than memorizing lines alone, students will learn how to act the monologue, building habits that support future audition and performance success. This class emphasizes technique, imagination, and bravery, helping young performers discover that their voice and story matter.
Perfect for students who are ready to grow in confidence, clarity, and expressive storytelling while learning the building blocks of strong acting.
