Take your musical theatre skills beyond the basics and learn how to put it all together! In Triple Threat Musical Theatre, students will build on their foundations in singing, acting, and dancing to become more confident, expressive, and connected musical theatre performers.

Students will strengthen vocal technique through breath support, pitch accuracy, diction, dynamics, phrasing, ensemble blending, and singing while moving. They’ll explore how vocal choices can communicate character and discover how the lyrics themselves provide clues about what a character wants, feels, and is fighting for.
Through character-driven scene and song work, performers will practice identifying objectives, connecting lyrics to emotion, reacting and listening to scene partners, and sustaining character from the first moment of a piece to the last. Students will also tackle more detailed Musical Theatre choreography, developing coordination, precision, stage awareness, and the ability to maintain strong vocals and storytelling while dancing.
With an emphasis on ensemble collaboration and expressive storytelling, students will have opportunities for small-group and featured moments while learning that great musical theatre performance is about more than hitting the right note or remembering the choreography. It’s about telling the story!
By the end of the session, students will demonstrate greater vocal and physical control, stronger stage presence, and the confidence to perform Musical Theatre pieces with clarity, character, and intention.
