One Act Play
Ages 13–18
As exciting as musicals are, plays offer a greater depth of character that actors get to explore throughout the rehearsal process, which is why Jami loves them! Straight play. Big impact. In this performance-based class, she's excited to bring that love to the teens! Students will dive into the world of plays— a story packed with high stakes, rich characters, and powerful moments. Over the course of the session, students will:

• Explore script analysis and character development
• Learn how to make bold choices quickly
• Rehearse and memorize a fully staged play
• Collaborate closely in small ensemble casts
• Develop timing, pacing, and emotional truth on stage

Each student will perform in a fully rehearsed  play as part of the end-of-session in-class showcase. Perfect for teen actors ready to stretch their skills, work with strong material, and bring a complete story to life in an afternoon.
