Come take this fast-paced, hands-on workshop focusing on practical theatrical lighting skills!
In this one-day crash course we will learn about:
-Hands-on training on how to hang theatrical light fixtures
-Hands-on training on how to accurately focus lighting fixtures
-Using a laptop to control complicated special effects and hazers
-Telling stories using color and shadow
-Making sense of complicated lighting plots
-Working with directors and set, costume, hair/makeup crews to assist designs
For $100 per family, parents and their kids can take this workshop to grow together in a new skill set! Students and parents are welcome to sign up separately, or as a family. After registration we will contact you to find out how many from your family will attend.
**PLEASE BRING: An adjustable crescent wrench the day of the workshop.**
