Class Description

Audition for the CYT Phoenix Improv Team! 
Auditions for the team will be held on October 29th, at 6:00 PM, at the CYT Studio.  Sign up for your audition by registering for the Improv Team Class, or emailing info@cytphoenix.org. The Team will spend the Winter and Spring Sessions training together in the Improv Team Class.  Being on the Team requires being in the class for both sessions. The CYT Phoenix Improv Team will perform regularly and all team members are required to participate. 

Check out our Improv FAQ's for more information! The team will be announced shortly after auditions on the 30th. If you do not make the team, please have a second choice class that we can transfer you to.

Dates when this class will NOT meet this session:  11/24, 12/22 and 12/29

Berta Cortes

Bertha Alicia Cortes received her Bachelor's in Theatre Education from Grand Canyon University in 2015. She is currently teaching theatre at The Academies at South Mountain in Phoenix. Previously she taught grades Pre-K through 6th at Black Mountain Elementary School in Cave Creek. Bertha has been the improv coach for CYT Phoenix for two years.
